Introduction
It’s important to replace your refrigerator water filter every six months. If you have trouble removing the filter, there may be water pressure build up. Just run the water for a few seconds to relieve the pressure and try again. Before replacing your filter, remember to remove the cap on the new filter.
What you need

- Locate the Water Filter.
- On this model the filter can be found in the main compartment at the very bottom in between the crisper drawers.

- Remove the filter cap by pressing in and twisting counterclockwise to the “Unlock Position”.

- Remove the old filter by simply pulling straight out, no twisting required. (Dispose of the old filter properly; check with local and state recycling laws for programs).

- Insert the new filter in place of the old filter.

- Press in and twist the filter cap clockwise into the “Lock Position”.

- Run the water to flush the filter and check for leaks for a few minutes.
- Press reset on the filter indicator.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
