  • Find the triangle arrow on the back of the phone.
  • Use gentle, firm pressure to press down on the triangle arrow with your thumb until you hear a popping sound as the cover releases from the phone.
  • Slide the cover down to remove it. Set it aside.

              Battery               
  • Find the access notch at the end of the battery compartment.

  • Place your thumb on the edge of the battery.
  • Lift the battery to remove it. Set it aside.

              Speaker               
  • Once the battery is removed, use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to unscrew the 4 3/16" screws holding the black plastic cover in place.

  • Remove the headphone cover from the left side and the volume cover from the right side of the black plastic cover.

  • Remove the black plastic cover from the back of the phone. This may take a little effort.

  • The speaker is located on the opposite side of the black plastic cover. Using your fingernail, pry the speaker out of the cover.

  • Replace with a new speaker.
