Introduction

Electric scooters are machines, and they, like other vehicles need servicing and maintenance to ensure they run smoothly for a long time.

If you need to replace the front tire of your Segway Ninebot Max scooter follow this guide.

What you need

• Before beginning the guide make sure the scooter is off and placed on a stand or table for easier access to work on.
• Remove the cap and reflection tag using a slotted screwdriver.

Step 2

• Use 3 mm Allen key to loosen three hexagon screws from each side of the wheel.

• Snap the covers away from the scooter from both sides.
• Remove the covers slowly and steadily to avoid breaking it.

• To detach the brake, use a 10 mm Allen wrench to remove the bolt from the tire that is attached with the brake.

• Use a 15 mm socket wrench to remove 15mm bolt from the tire of the scooter on both sides of the front wheel.

Step 6

• Pull down the tire and remove it from the frame.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
