What you need

              Garage Door               
  • Open the garage door by sliding both of the release buttons away from you.
  • Lift off the garage door.

              Side Component               
  • Remove the plastic screw covering using a metal spudger by pushing the sharp side into the crevice and prying the cover out.

  • Turn the T10 Security Torx screwdriver counterclockwise to remove the 15mm screw.

  • Use the iFixit Opening Tool to pry the side of the vacuum open.

  • Remove the side component with your hands.

              Drive Belt               
  • Remove old the belt from the two gears by prying it off using the metal spudger.
  • The new belt will be very tight and difficult to put back on. In order to reinstall, start with the belt on one gear, then slowly rotate the other gear, pushing on the belt and allowing it to catch the teeth.

Step 7

  • Repeat on the other side of the vacuum.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Just been told by shark that you cant buy the belt in the UK and you have to buy the whole new head at £60!

What a rip off! Wont be buying a Shark again!
