- Be sure that any water in the water tank cools before proceeding.

- Place the Steam Pocket Mop face down on a flat surface.
- Take note of the placement of the handle; the side labelled “front” should should face forward.

- Remove the screw located underneath the cord holder.
- Turn the screwdriver counter-clockwise to loosen the screw from its slot.
- This is a long screw and will take time to remove.
