              Self Cleaning Brush Roll
  • Make sure to turn off the vacuum and unplug it from the outlet.

  • Push down on the bottom of the vacuum so it can dangle.
  • Using a flathead screwdriver to turn the lock counterclockwise, then open the cover to access the brush roll.

Step 3

  • Clear out any debris and close up the bottom using the previous steps.
  • Unfortunately, the new technology implemented in the self-cleaning brush roll prevents it from being detachable. You have a guaranteed 5-year warranty from Shark. Contact them using this link.
