              Brush Roller               
  • Detach the power nozzle from the vacuum and turn it so the right side is facing you. Pull down the blue tab to the direction where the arrow is facing.
  • The brush roller should now pop out.
  • Putting the brush roller in again does not require pulling the blue tab. It should pop in with no problem.

Step 2

              Brush Roller Belt               
  • Turn the three plastic locks to the unlocked position and remove the crevice tool.
  • Use T9 and T15 screwdrivers to remove the seven screws.

  • Use an opening tool on the edges of the casing and pull off the thin plastic coverings on both sides.
  • Expect to hear snapping noises.
  • Pull the plastic coverings off the powerhead.

  • Remove the six screws using a T15 Torx security screwdriver.
  • Remove the plastic headcover.

  • Remove the seven screws using the T10 and T15 Torx security screwdriver.
  • Lift the covering and motor assembly enough to see the belt.

  • Remove the belt and power nozzle.
  • When reinstalling, be sure the belt is tightly secured around the gear grooves.
