What you need

Step 1

              Battery

Press down on the grooved area firmly in the direction of arrow #1.
While maintaining the downwards pressure, push the back cover in the direction of arrow #2 until the back cover slides off.

Step 2

Turn off the phone before removing the battery to avoid damage.
Press the latch on the battery in the direction of arrow #3.
Lift battery at the cutout on the side of the phone, then tilt upwards and remove.
It may be necessary to use the tip of a fingernail or a plastic lifting tool to remove the battery.

              SIM Card

With the phone turned onto its backside, gently slide the metal clasp up to unlock the SIM card.
It may be easier to move the clasp with a plastic opening tool, but it is not required.
The SIM card will spring up once the clasp is released.
Remove the SIM card from phone.

Step 4

To replace the SIM card, insert the card back into the slot.
While pressing the SIM card with one finger, slide the metal clasp down to lock the card in place.
