WARNINGS

  • Always perform a Pre-Use Check before connecting the ventilator to a patient.The separate Patient Circuit Test that can be performed in Standby mode does not replace the Pre-Use Check.Do not connect the ventilator to a patient while a malfunction persists.Do not lift the expiratory cassette while the ventilator is in operation; instead, lift the cassette while in Standby mode.

Important: If you change the breathing circuit after calculating the circuit compliance compensation factor, perform a new Pre-Use Check.
