Introduction
This becomes noticeable when the pot can either no longer be completely retracted, or the device does not work despite the lid being closed.
What you need

Spring pot lock
- Remove the lid from the pot of the SILVERCREST Monsieur Cuisine Connect before processing
- The instructions are identical for both sides.
- Place the pot on the work surface with the opening facing down
- Open and remove the screw cap

- Remove the Phillips head screw

- The lower part is fixed, pay close attention to the order of removal.
- Remove the cover by first pulling on the top edge.
- Then turn the cover to the right or left out of the fixation

- The springs can look different depending on their condition. Sometimes they may not even be present. Note that all spring leftover parts must be removed.
- Place the cover with the open side up in front of you
- Remove the first spring with a suitable tool

- Remove the Phillips head screw
- Remove the second spring with a pair of needle nose pliers.

- Insert a new matching spring.
- A 25mm (1inch) spring is recommended.
- Most springs are too long. Shorten them using a pair of pliers.

- Attach the second smaller spring with the Phillips head screw
- The correct size of this spring is vital!. The lock must be completely withdrawn in normal condition.
- Recommendation here is a 5mm spring

- Attach the other end of the spring to the movable part of the locking mechanism

Wo bekomme ich diese Zugfedern und welche Größe benötige ich genau? Vielen Dank schon einmal

Entweder bestellst du sie online oder du versuchst es in einem Fachhandel. Der Ersteller dieser Anleitung gibt die Längen der Federn mit 5 mm und mit 25 mm an. Wenn du nur längere findest, kannst du sie theoretisch auch selbst kürzen.
Ich habe die Zugfedern in diesem Artikel mit einem Link hinterlegt. Diese müssen zum Teil mit einer Zange manuell gekürzt werden. Das ist aber relativ einfach möglich.
