- Remove the (4) 3.5mm screws using a phillips #000 screwdriver.

- Use the plastic opening tool to work your way around the tablet, releasing the back case from the tabs.

- Release the back case from the rest of the tablet with your hand.
- Do not pry the case too hard; doing so can damage the tablet.

Speaker
- Remove the soldered connections to separate the speaker wires from the motherboard.
- Remove all black and yellow tape, if necessary, on the motherboard.
- Following the red and black wires, coming out of the speaker, to their respective connections on the motherboard will indicate where to solder.

- Soldering irons require a larger amount of heat; use caution when performing this step. Excessive heat can damage parts of your device; do not leave the soldering iron on connections for extended periods of time.
