What you need

  • Make sure the device is powered off
  • Rotate the device so the ports and screws face you

  • Using a small phillips screwdriver, unscrew both end screws

  • Using a plastic opening tool, work your way around the edge of the device, separating the case from the rest of the device

  • Once the case has been loosened, pry the backing off gently with your hands.
  • Make sure to remove the case gently as extra force can break the clasps or the case itself.

              Speakers
  • Identify the connection location of the wires from the speakers.

  • Use a soldering iron to remove the speaker wires from the circuit board

  • Solder the new speakers to the correct location, making sure the red wire goes to the + and the black wire goes to the -.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
