What you need

Step 1

              Opening the device               
  • Start by removing the 4 screws in the back of the device using a size 00 Philips screw driver.

              Replacing the screen               
  • Gently open the zif connector that holds the screen.
  • Insert the replacement screen, and close the zif

              Closing the device               
  • When closing the housing, make sure the screen fits into the rectangle on the top.
  • If the screen is not in this rectangle, it may become damaged when the screws are tightened
  • Hold the screen in place from below; line up the button’s edge of the top housing to line up with the bottom housing. Slide your finger out as you bring the top and bottom housings to meet.
  • Replace the 4 Philips screws in the back.

When closing the housing, make sure the screen fits into the rectangle on the top.
