Cleaning and replacing the tips
- After the tips have been removed, it is best to wipe down the arms with isopropyl. This will ensure there are no debris in the way which may cause false readings.
- Replace the tips using the washers and screws from the old set. If the device shows a reading while not in contact with anything, remove the tips, clean them and the arms again, and replace.
