Step 1

              Removing the front cover               
  • Locate the two prongs at the bottom of the button which releases the bottles (at the front of the machine).
  • Push both prongs down together; pull this part of the machine out towards you.

Step 2

              Removing the back cover               
  • Press in the two gray oval shaped buttons found on either side.
  • Gently pull back on the cover until it releases from the device.
  • Release the buttons and pull the back completely off.

Step 3

              Removing the Carbonation button               
  • Place your hand under the carbonation button and pull up and away from you, towards the back of the machine.
  • Warning: be careful not to pull too hard on the carbonation button; there is a spring under this button that can become loose.

Step 4

              Tightening caps on tubes               
  • Under the carbonation button, at the end of the slim black tube will be a white cap, turn the cap in a counter clock wise motion to remove.
  • Locate the second white cap, on the front of the machine. Reattach both white caps by turning them in a clockwise direction, ensuring they are on tight.

Step 5

              Putting machine back together               
  • Line up the prongs on the front cover with those on the machine and gently push until in place.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Where do you find that black tube with the white caps on the internet. My white cap broke and can’t find the replacement part.

mine broke too. plastic nut split in half. probably from chill of CO2 expansion.

Sodastream refuses to sell parts. Maybe get a non working one on eBay for parts.
