Introduction

What you need

              Battery               
  • With plastic spudger wedge in between the top and bottom casings to force sepearation . Exposing the inside components of the Republic Deck.

Step 2

  • Use the screwdriver to unscrew 2 3.63mm Phillips #0 screws securing the plastic plate.

  • Remove ribbon cable from the circuit board.

Step 4

  • Unscrew five 3.6 mm Phillips #0 screws securing the circuit board.
  • The ribbon cables are adhesive attached to the case, use tweezers to VERY carefully pick them up. They will then lift up with the circuit board. Or desolder them at the bottom to separate from the circuit board.
  • Melt the solder with an iron and used the tweezers to pull the wire upright.
  • You can pull the circuit board up and away from the wires once the wires are pointed up.

Unscrew five 3.6 mm Phillips #0 screws securing the circuit board.

  • Unscrew eighteen 6.2 mm Phillips #0 screws and lift the black plastic plate from the case.

  • Unscrew both 3.6 mm Phillips #0 screws holding the battery case to the back of the plastic plate.
  • Remove the battery from the battery case.
  • Original battery is ICR18650-30A. Its rated for 3000mAh, 6A continuous (2 C-rate).

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

It’s just a regular lithium ion 18650 battery 3.7v 3200-3500 mah. The deck ultra uses 2 of these

The wires which are blue and purple are connected to battery body if im not wrong

After changing the battery my device is not switching on. Please help. I connected the charger the battery is charging… showing red.
