Introduction
What you need
Step 1
Volume Buttons
- When working with electronics, it’s important to choose a tool that’s ESD-safe to avoid accidental damage to the device. The regular black nylon spudger or a plastic opening tool should be used whenever possible.
- To separate the front face plate from the bottom half of the speaker, insert a spudger into the the middle groove.
- Insert another spudger into the middle groove to hold the front plate up as you separate both plates on all sides. Use multiple opening tools to keep plates separated if necessary.

Step 2

Step 3
- Using the plastic spudger, pry the button from the front plate of the speaker. The volume button is connected to the speaker by a plastic tab that has blue glue holding it down. The entire volume button can be removed from the front plate by carefully using the spudger to lift it up until it comes off.

So I dropped my speaker from 2 ft and the volume up doesn’t work even after opening it up and trying to replace it. Is there any thing I may have missed?
