              Battery

The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the camera as shown. To access the battery slide the compartment switch from LOCK to OPEN.
Before operating on device, ensure that the camera is powered off and the surface of operation is clean and free of dirt or other obstructions.

Push back the blue tab releasing the battery which should spring forth on its own.

Step 3

To insert replacement, depress the blue tab again inserting the battery as shown until the blue tab springs back into place. Ensure battery is secure, close the battery compartment and return the latch to the LOCK position.
The replacement battery must meet specifications declared by Sony.
