              Diopter

Orient your camera so that you are looking at the posterior portion.

Step 2

Place each of your thumbs on the interior portions of the eyepiece cup, pressing down and pushing up.

Step 3

Slide the eyepiece off by carefully pulling it upward.
Be careful not to come into contact with the viewfinder lens as the lens can be easily scratched.

Step 4

Remove the screw from the middle of the diopter with the JIS #00 screwdriver.

Step 5

Remove the diopter with your hands. If the diopter is at all stuck you can use the pointed tweezers to help aid in the removal process.
Be careful not to let fingers or tweezers come into contact with the viewfinder lens as the lens can be easily scratched.

              Viewfinder Plate

Remove the 4 screws on the viewfinder plate with a JIS #00 screwdriver.

Step 7

Carefully remove the plastic viewfinder plate from the camera.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
