Introduction

Due to the high-perfomance this camera provides, it will need a battery replacement quite often. The battery needed is a Lithium ion battery chemestry with a voltage of 7.4 V and 1030.0mAh capacity. There is no special skills required or unusual when following this guide, it will all be done in two minutes. After changing the battery, you will be ready to shoot with it again for another 300 minutes if just taking pictures or 180 for video recording.

• Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. Then, slide the latch down to open the cover.

• Insert the new battery and close the compartment.
• Most new lithium batteries are partially charged to improve shelf life. It is recommended to charge the battery after installation even if the indicator shows a full charge. Unlike nickel cadmium batteries, lithium batteries will provide better performance when charged to full capacity from a partial charge of 60%.
