The buttons will not go up nor down when I press them. Or if it does, it doesn’t function the way it is supposed to.

Put small amounts of 96% rubbing alcohol on a q-tip end and dab it on the button. The grime will loosen and will not harm the camera if exposed to small amounts. 70% rubbing alcohol or methanol are also good solutions.

You may need to replace the button. Click here for more precise information.

If you’re having issues with the button you should consider replacing it.

The image on the camera does not completely match the shot I am trying to take.

The subject may be too close. Either position the camera further away or record in close-up recording mode. You can also select the auto focus mode by pressing the FOCUS button.

Turn off the camera and leave it be for about an hour so the moisture condensation will wear off.

Simple solutions include turning on the flash for the camera or taking pictures at a time when the lighting is better suited on the environment. A more technical solution would be to adjust the white balance if some specific color (usually white) are not appearing as the image is displayed as.

The LCD monitor could be slightly covered in debris so a simple solution would be to wipe it with a clean cloth. If there is still an interference on the lens while it is clear, you may be dealing with high ISO noise. If that is the case, you will need to turn on the camera and choose among P mode, S mode, or A mode. Move to the ISO value settings and choose the mode you wish to use (auto, 64, 100, 200, or 400). Stuck, dead, or hot pixels can be removed using various photoshop editing software. But if you prefer the more genuine image look, there is always the option of replacing your lens. Click here for the steps on how to remove the lens from the camera.

The device will not charge when it is plugged to a charging port.

Your batteries might be dead, we recommend you replace your batteries.

Charging issues in regards to the port are not very common. This is usually an issue with the batteries.

This is also not that common of an issue. The best solution is to replace the port that connects the camera and computer.
