Charger is plugged into camera and wall and will not charge
Try a new outlet to ensure that it is indeed the charger/camera that does not work. Make sure that the charger is properly plugged into the wall and charging port. Blow into the charging port to remove any dust. If all else fails you may need a new battery.
The battery can be replaced by opening the panel on the right side of the camera. Take out the battery and put in a freshly charged, new battery.
Camera is charged, but power button doesn’t turn it on
Try charging the camera with a new charger in a new wall outlet to ensure it is the camera that is not functioning. Hold down the power button to turn it back on. Replace the battery if this fails.
Picture on screen is blurry
Make sure that the front cover is slid down. Clean the lens with Windex or similar cleaner and wipe.
Even slight motion can cause the image to be blurry. Make sure the screen has stabilized before taking picture.
While using the camera it shuts off without user doing
Bring the camera to a warmer location, and then plug it into the charger. This will power up the camera. Vice-versa if the camera turned off due to the heat.
The camera has an auto-turn off function that may be enabled and is causing this issue. To disable go to Menu - Setting - Main Settings - Power Save - Desired mode. This will allow you to control when the camera turns on an off.
While charging, the light is not the correct color or no color is shown
Replace the battery pack with a new, freshly charged battery pack. Insert the new battery pack into the camera and turn on.
Check to see if the light is cracked or damaged. If so plug battery into camera to see if the battery is charging, if not replace the charger.
